If you are a local band then this may be of interest to you:

A new show is coming to Zeta 105.3 FM that showcases unsigned bands and musical artists from in and around our area and we call it "Zeta Home Grown".
 
"Zeta Home Grown" begins Sunday, May 2nd 2010 from 3pm to 4pm on Zeta 105.3 and is hosted by Mark Byford and Gary Spencer. The show will showcase local unsigned bands and musical artisit, giving them a medium in which to promote their work that was previuosly not available in our listening area.  
 
Unsigned bands and musical artists are encouraged to submit their demo CD's and bio'sNOW by mailing  them to:

Each submission will be reviewed and if selected, you will be invited to come on the show and talk about your work, your achievements and even play a live set. You will also be entered into our Zeta Home Grown compatition in conjunction with Feel Good Media and one lucky band or musical artist will win:
 
  • A 2 year management contract with Feel Good Media who will take on every aspect of managing you or your band.
  • Air play on Zeta 105.3
  • Recording studio time to record a 3 track EP (Studio time to produce 3 tracks and production of a press/media pack to send to venues.
  • Marketing worth £10,000 (This will include posters, flyers, business cards, MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, Blogger and other social media promotion. Growing your fan base will be our priority)
  • 4 week tour (The 4 week tour will include an appearance at a local festival, pubs and clubs all over East Anglia)
  • Press Releases (Press releases will be written and dispatched to all the major press and media contacts, informing them of your success. This will include interviews for kown magazines on and off line.)
  • Perform at the winner's party (Zeta 105.3 FM will be holding a winners party DTC, the party will see the last 4 acts standing perform in front of hundreds of people with the winner headlining.)
